Meet Chris Hursh, founder, lead creative storyteller, director of photography, executive producer, cinematographer, and award winning editor, is the driving force behind CHV Films. His passion for amazing visuals and his musical backgroud make's him the perfect partner for your next multi-media project. We are located in Cincinnati, Ohio, but travel regionally, nationally, and internationally to serve our clients.

I am a storyteller at heart. It's in my DNA. Telling stories and connecting with others is my passion. I've spent over 30 years working to grow and improve my craft, and I have the experience you need to help elevate your digital content.
I have extensive knowledge of both the news, film and commercial production worlds. I've worked with National television networks, corporations, film companies, non-profits, marketing agencies and small businesses who what to create amazing content. As director of photography I've worked on a variety of productions and can help your team craft a story that will be meaningful. I'm currently working on the documentary film The Risk Takers with our sister company- Iwje FIlms, LLC. That production has our staff traveling around the world capturing never before told stories of rescue and survival. We are nearing completion of the filming and will move into writing and editing in 2026.

Telly Awards- Multiple Awards I have been awareded two Telly awards in 2015 for my feature on the Little Miami High School Choir. The video was recognized in the Broadcast News Feature Category and also Best use of Music in a video production. National Press Photographers/Ohio News Photographers Awards
I have received over 15 awards over my broadcast television news career for my work from both the National Press Photographers Association and the Ohio News Photographers Association. These awards were for a variety of topics including news, sports, weather, and feature stories that I shot and edited while working for both WTOL-TV in Toledo Ohio, and WKRC-TV in Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm very proud of the work I did for both the local and national news outlets.
